Born 8 January 1995 Kyle is a South African-born British tennis player, and a Davis Cup champion. He is a top 20 player.
Kyle first started playing tennis at the age of 10 after a summer tennis camp with Richard Plews in Beverley, East Yorkshire. After two years with Richard training out of David Lloyd in Hull, Kyle trained with John Black at Nuffield in Hull and latterly at Win Tennis located at Bisham abbey Sports Centre.
At the age of 16 Kyle based himself at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton under the tutelage of Colin Beecher, who coached Kyle until he had a brief period with Greg Rusedski and James Trotman. Kyle then worked with Ryan Jones up until June 2017.
Kyle has recently appointed two coaches in 'Fidde' Rosengren and Mark Hilton who share Kyle's coaching responsibilities. Physical coach and physiotherapist, Ian Prangley has been with Kyle since October 2014. Kyle also works with Glenn Kearney and Chris Gooder as well as Lawrence Frankopan of Starwing Sports Management.
He lives in Nassau in The Bahamas and trains at Albany. His family home is in Beverley, Yorkshire where Kyle grew up with his sister Kelly.
Kyle’s interests outside of tennis are motorsports, following Liverpool and the family Jack Russell, Mylo.
